Committed to corporate safety and environmental responsibility, CHP Taitung Plant collaborated with Taitung County Environmental Protection Bureau, Taitung Fire Department, and Fongtian Fire Branch on February 10 to conduct a fire safety training session for workplaces handling radioactive materials. This initiative aimed to enhance employee's disaster preparedness and safeguard both personnel and the environment.
The training covered essential topics such as fire prevention, initial firefighting procedures, emergency evacuation protocols, and response measures for radioactive material leaks. Participants gained crucial knowledge on fire risk management and engaged in hands-on drills to strengthen their crisis response skills. These exercises ensure that in emergency situations, employees can react swiftly and correctly to protect themselves, their colleagues, and nearby communities.
CHP Taitung Plant remains committed to collaborating with relevant authorities to conduct regular safety drills and training programs, reinforcing risk management practices and fostering a safer work environment as part of its long-term sustainability efforts.
